Chapter 4 Publications by the Institute

42 Subject Matter of Publication

The Institute shall publish:

(a) the registration of trademarks, containing the particulars in accordance with Article 40(1)(a) to (f) and (2)(a) to (e);
(b) the entries under Article 40(3);
(c) the particulars under Article 40(4), where their publication appears appropriate.

43 Organ of Publication

(1) The particulars under Article 42 shall be published in the Swiss Trade Journal.

(2) They shall additionally be published in the Swiss Journal of Patents, Designs and Marks. Such publication shall have no legal effect.

44 Further Publications

The Institute may publish each year a compilation of the registrations published in the Swiss Trade Journal together with further compilations of general interest, particularly concerning statistics.
