The JPO Strengthens Cooperation with Cambodia on Intellectual Property

Mr. Ito, Commissioner of the Japan Patent Office (JPO), and H.E. OUK Prachea, Deputy Minister/Secretary of State of the Ministry of Commerce of the Kingdom of Cambodia, met on November 27, 2014 in Tokyo, where they signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC) on Intellectual Property. According to this MOC, both offices have agreed to exchange their experiences and knowledge on industrial property policies and cooperate in human resource development to advance the capabilities of examiners and officials. The JPO, based on this MOC, is committed to further strengthening its cooperative relationship with Cambodia in the field of intellectual property.
