Ministry of Law and IP Office of Singapore Visited JPO for Survey

The delegation of the Ministry of Law and the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore including Director of the IP Policy Division of the Ministry of Law, Mr. Simon, visited the JPO on April 20. The JPO introduced the Japan’s design system, its examination system, and human resource development for design examiners, as well as exchanged opinions with the delegation regarding how substantive examination on designs should be conducted. The JPO intends to further promote its cooperative relations with the nations in the ASEAN region in the field of intellectual property.
