Indonesian Directors from DGIP Visited JPO

On February 10, 2016, a group of delegates from the Directorate General of Intellectual Property (DGIP) of Indonesia, led by Mr. Parlagutan Lubis, Director of Cooperation and IP Empowerment, and Mr. Salmon Pardede, Director of Investigation and Dispute Settlement visited the JPO.
They heard presentation regarding JPO’s cooperation for Indonesia in the field of IP enforcement through the JICA project*, and exchanged views with the officials from the METI and JPO.
The JPO will continue to contribute to strengthening IP enforcement in Indonesia.

*The JPO supports IP enforcement in Indonesia through the JICA’s project on Intellectual Property Rights Protection and Legal Consistency for Improving Business Environment in response to the request from the Government of Indonesia.
