Hon'ble the Chief Justice of India Visited JPO

Hon'ble Mr. Justice T.S. Thakur, Chief Justice of India, visited Japan, this week, with his colleagues to speak at the “Judicial System of India and IP Litigation Seminar ” held in Tokyo, Hiroshima and Kyoto.

They visited JPO on May 18 and had a meeting with Commissioner Ito, Deputy Commissioner Koyanagi and Director-General Shimano of the Trial and Appeal Department.

At the meeting, they exchanged opinions regarding the judicial system of India as well as bilateral cooperation between India and Japan related to intellectual property.
