- The symposium has successfully ended.
Thank you very much for your support.
Tegernsee member IP offices (JPO, USPTO, EPO, UKIPO, DPMA, INPI, DKPTO) had been conducting discussions on patent system harmonization. In 2013, each office had held its own user consultations through conducting a questionnaire survey of users. Recently, the results had been released as the Final Consolidated Report on the Tegernsee User Consultations.
Based on this, the JPO held a symposium in Tokyo on July 10, entitled "Tegernsee Symposium - focused on Grace Period." The symposium was held in cooperation with AIPPI and FICPI.
At the symposium, many lectures by experts from IP offices and user's groups, as well as a panel discussion, were held to deepen the participants' consideration on the patent system harmonization to better understand and support further cooperative initiatives.
