The Japan Patent Office (JPO) and the National Board of Patents and Registration of Finland (NBPR) commenced the PPH pilot program on April 20, 2009 in accordance with the joint statement of intent at the NBPR/JPO Heads Meeting held in Helsinki on March 31, 2009. The JPO and the NBPR also start the PPH pilot program using PCT international work products since July 1, 2010.
