PPH pilot program between the JPO and the DPMA

The JPO and the DPMA commenced the PPH pilot program on March 25, 2008, for a trial period of two years.

The JPO is pleased to announce that both Offices agreed to extend the trial period for another two years. (See the Press Release on the METI web site)

Along with the extension of trial period, eligible types of applications were expanded. See “Expansion of eligible applications for PPH pilot program to direct PCT applications”.

The both Offices have agreed to re-extend the trial period for another two years from 25 March 2012.
