JPO Conducted JPO/IPR Training Course for Practitioners Specializing in Trademarks

The Japan Patent Office (JPO) conducted “JPO/IPR Training Course for Practitioners Specializing in Trademarks” from February 13 to 27, 2020. A total of 23 trainees from 11 countries were invited to take the course intended for IP lawyers, patent attorneys, and those engaged in trademark practices at companies and universities.

For the purpose of improving the capabilities of the trainees as IP rights experts, lectures on Examination Guidelines, filing practices, etc. regarding trademarks were conducted. As a result, the trainees were able to deepen their understanding of trademark practices.
