On February 14, 2020, the Japan Patent Office (JPO) held a seminar titled "Strategies and Global Solutions Using International Arbitration and Mediation for Intellectual Property Disputes on SEP Licensing and FRAND" in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo.
Leading figures in the field of international intellectual property dispute resolution, including Mr. Randall R. Rader, former Chief Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and current Chairman of International Arbitration Center in Tokyo, took the stage. This seminar used specific cases as examples to illustrate the methods and strategies available to resolve intellectual property disputes through international arbitration and mediation.
The venue was full to capacity, showing people’s high interest in international arbitration and mediation as intellectual property dispute resolution.
