(ii) Collective Examinations for IP Portfolio Supporting Business StrategyThe Collective Examinations for IP Portfolio Supporting Business Strategy is a measure that supports the acquisition of rights in time with operations of businesses by having examiners for multiple applications related to the business (patent, design, and trademark applications) coordinate with each other to conduct their respective examinations.[Figure 2-1-5] In 2019, there were 39 applications for Collective Examina-tions for IP Portfolio Supporting Business Strategy.
