Mechanical treatment of furs, e.g. shearing, cutting or finishing.

| Pasting process | An industrial process for stretching and drying wet skins which have been glued (pasted) on a plane surface. |
| Pelt | The skin of an animal with hair, fur, or wool still attached. |
| Special leather | Leathers fitted together in some way by assemblying pieces. |
