You will be directed to the page introducing Japan IPR Service Center: General Contact Point on Counterfeit and Pirated Goods. It was established in the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry in November 2004 to provide consultation services regarding counterfeit and pirated goods. In April 2020, it was transferred to the Japan Patent Office to further strengthen measures against counterfeit goods. We accept inquiries from rights holders and businesses affected by counterfeit or piracy issues.
