Trilateral Office Heads Held Meeting to Discuss Intellectual Property and Environmental Issues

December 9, 2021

On December 7, 2021, the Japan Patent Office (JPO) hosted the 39th Trilateral Heads of Office Meeting in the form of a video conference with the European Patent Office (EPO) and the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), as well as the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) as observers.

On November 16, prior to this Trilateral Heads of Office Meeting, the JPO also hosted the Trilateral Heads of Office with Trilateral Industry Meeting with the Trilateral User Groups (IT3: Industry Trilateral*) from Japan, the Europe, and the United States. In both of these meetings, the attendees discussed IP and environmental issues.
