JPO Held Discussions with Germany on Recent Office Initiatives

Japan Patent Office Commissioner MORI and Deputy Commissioner IWASAKI held a meeting with the Deutsche Patent-und Markenamt (DPMA) on January 26, 2022.

Commissioner MORI and DPMA President Cornelia Rudloff-Schäffer exchanged information during the meeting in order to update each other regarding recent initiatives in their respective offices. The two heads also discussed and exchanged views regarding Standard Essential Patents (SEPs) and awareness-raising for consumers regarding counterfeit products.
