JPO Holds Bilateral Meetings with More than 20 Patent Offices during the Assemblies of the Member States of WIPO

Commissioner HAMANO and Deputy Commissioner KATSURA held talks with more than 20 national and regional intellectual property offices*1 on the occasion of their participation in the 63rd General Assemblies of the Member States of WIPO, which was held in Geneva, Switzerland.

They confirmed that cooperation will be pursued in various areas, particularly in regard to concluding Memorandums of Understanding on cooperation between Brazil, the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), and Malaysia.
