Visit to the JPO by Mr. Faure, Director General of INPI.fr

Pascal Faure, Director General of the National Institute of Industrial Property of France (INPI.fr), visited the JPO on October 20, 2022 and exchanged views with Commissioner HAMANO on cooperation between Japan and France.

During the meeting, the two leaders exchanged views and confirmed that they will continue to strengthen cooperation in order to improve convenience for users of the IP systems in both France and Japan.

On the same day, Commissioner Hamano was invited to an IP seminar organized by the Embassy of France in Japan, and the EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation at the Delegation of the European Union to Japan. In his opening remarks, Commissioner HAMANO spoke regarding the international cooperation between Japan and both France and Europe in the field of IP.
