JPO-USPTO Bilateral Meeting Held

Japan Patent Office (JPO) Commissioner HAMANO Koichi held a meeting with Ms. Kathi Vidal, Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and Director of the United States Patent and Trademark Office （USPTO）, on October 3, 2023, while attending the 41st Trilateral Heads of Office meeting in Munich, Germany.

During the meeting, JPO and USPTO held discussions on matters including the Green Transformation Technologies Inventory (GXTI), Diversity and Inclusion in the field of intellectual property, and examination practices of inventions related to AI.
