The JPO Commissioner Gave a Speech at the IPBC Asia

On November 20, 2024, Mr. ONO, Commissioner of the Japan Patent Office (JPO), gave a speech at IPBC Asia 2024 in Tokyo. The "IPBC Asia 2024" is an international event for intellectual property professionals, including corporate executives, investors, policy experts and legal professionals, to get together, share knowledge, and discuss latest trends.

In his speech, Commissioner ONO introduced the JPO’s initiatives concerning Digital-related invention, the latest information on the Patent Prosecution Highway (PPH) that the JPO implements with overseas IP Offices, useful for building global IP portfolio, and the initiatives toward EXPO 2025 OSAKA, KANSAI, JAPAN.
