JPO holds bilateral meeting with Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO)

Japan Patent Office (JPO) Commissioner KASAI Yasuyuki and Deputy Commissioner YASUDA Futoshi held a bilateral meeting with Mr. Konstantinos Georgaras, Chief Executive Officer at the Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO), on October 6, 2025.

During the meeting, both offices shared reports on filing trends between the two countries, and also exchanged views in order to align their understanding toward future cooperation initiatives such as the G7 Heads of IP Office Conversation.
