IP5 Working Group 3 meeting held

The IP5 Working Group 3 (WG3) Meeting, hosted by the Japan Patent Office (JPO), was held in Tokyo on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 in a hybrid format, bringing together the five patent offices of Japan, Europe, Korea, China, the United States. The meeting included discussion about recent initiatives related to the Patent Prosecution Highway (PPH).

On the following day, Wednesday, November 13, meetings were held for the IP5 Patent Harmonization Expert Panel (PHEP) and the IP5 Project Management Group (PMG). These meetings included an exchange of views on IP5 cooperation in the fields of new emerging technology and AI, as well as discussions on the project management for IP5 initiatives.
