The JPO held a bilateral meeting with the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS) and signed a Memorandum of Cooperation

On November 25, 2025, Commissioner KASAI Yasuyuki held a bilateral meeting with Mr. TAN Kong Hwee, Chief Executive of the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS). During the meeting, both offices agreed to update the Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC)—in place since 2014—for the first time in 11 years and signed the revised document. This update will enable the two offices to actively share knowledge across a broader range of fields than ever before.
