IP5 Program Management Group (PMG) meeting held

The IP5 Program Management Group (PMG) meeting hosted by the Japan Patent Office (JPO) was held online on Friday, April 10, 2026, bringing together the five patent offices of Japan, Europe, Korea, China, and the United States. The meeting included discussions on initiatives related to the roadmap for new emerging technologies and artificial intelligence (the IP5 NET/AI Roadmap).

In addition, the JPO provided an overview of the 2026 IP5 Deputy Heads of Office Meeting and IP5 Heads of Office Meeting, which it will be hosting later this year.
