The JPO exchanges views with the IPO

The Japan Patent Office (JPO) held an exchange of views with the Intellectual Property Owners Association (IPO) of the United States on Monday, June 8, 2026. The meeting was opened with a greeting by Deputy Commissioner YASUDA. This was followed by an exchange of opinions on the examination of AI-related inventions and the utilization of AI in patent application practice.
