Article 3
(Purpose of INPIT)
  • Clearly state in the purpose provision the advice and assistance for SMEs and research institutes under the Patent Act.
  • Position the above operations as a major function of INPIT, both in name and reality, alongside the information provision and training services already mentioned in the purpose clause.
Article 11
(Scope of Operations)

The following new services have been established:

  • Advice and assistance to SMEs　and research institutes　under the Patent Act
  • Advice and assistance to a part of Leading Medium Enterprises under the Act on Strengthening Industrial Competitiveness
  • Advice for enterprises that have received approval for plans regarding research and development jointly conducted by enterprises and universities under the Act on Strengthening Industrial Competitiveness
