Chapter 4 Publications by the Institute

 42 Subject Matter of Publication

The Institute shall publish:

• (a) the registration of trademarks, containing the particulars in accordance with Article 40(1)(a) to (f) and (2)(a) to (e);
  
• (b) the entries under Article 40(3);
  
• (c) the particulars under Article 40(4), where their publication appears appropriate.
  

 43 Organ of Publication

• (1) The particulars under Article 42 shall be published in the Swiss Trade Journal.
  
• (2) They shall additionally be published in the Swiss Journal of Patents, Designs and Marks. Such publication shall have no legal effect.
  

 44 Further Publications

The Institute may publish each year a compilation of the registrations published in the Swiss Trade Journal together with further compilations of general interest, particularly concerning statistics.
