Changes in binding method of priority certificate

The Japan Patent Office (JPO) used to bind the priority certificate with a ribbon and fix the ribbon with an embossed sticker. But regarding certificates certified after April 1, 2024, the ribbon has been abolished and the design of the sticker has been changed to a new one with the JPO logo printed on it. In addition, the left edge of the second and subsequent leaves of the priority certificate was stapled in two places, but this practice has also been abolished. Though the binding method of the priority certificate has been changed, the content of the certificate itself has not been changed.
