JPO Conducts JPO/IPR Training Course on Patent Examination (Basic Program)

The JPO conducted the JPO/IPR Training Course on Patent Examinations (Basic Program) from June 26 to July 3, 2025. A total of 19 IP officials from 13 countries and two organizations participated in the course, whose purpose was to enhance the abilities of examiners to carry out prompt and accurate examinations.

During the course, the trainees deepened their understanding regarding patent- related laws and regulations, examination guidelines, specialized knowledge of examination practices, and case studies.
