The Role of Intellectual Property System for Economic Development
FY2020 Follow-up Seminar in Myanmar (Program)
On January 29, 2021, a Follow-up Seminar titled "The Role of Intellectual Property System for Economic Development" was held online co-hosted by the JPO and the Department of Intellectual Property, the Ministry of Commerce, Government of Myanmar (IPD Myanmar).
The seminar was attended by approximately 280 participants, including officials from the IPD Myanmar and IP professionals from Myanmar's private sector, law firms, and universities.
Officials of the JPO and IP experts from Japan, and officials of IPD Myanmar served as lecturers, and gave presentations on the importance of the IP system for economic development in line with Japan's experience and the current situation in Myanmar.
