IP Enforcement (Anti-Counterfeiting Measures on E-commerce Platforms)
FY2025 Follow-up Seminar in Thailand (Program)
The Japan Patent Office (JPO) and the Department of Intellectual Property (DIP) in Thailand co-hosted a follow-up seminar in Bangkok, Thailand on December 2, 2025, on the theme of " IP Enforcement (Anti-Counterfeiting Measures on E-commerce Platforms)".
The seminar was attended by approximately 70 intellectual property stakeholders from the DIP and Thai law firms, as well as representatives from universities and research institutions in Thailand.
In recent years, the number of counterfeit products on e-commerce platforms in Thailand has surged, making it urgent to implement more effective measures against online counterfeits. As a result, this seminar was praised for its practical content, as well as the active discussions which followed.
The JPO will continue to support the development and improvement of intellectual property systems in Thailand and other countries in order to create an environment that ensures the prompt and smooth acquisition of intellectual property rights, and their appropriate protection.
