In principle, an invention is considered as susceptible of industrial application if it can be made or used in any kind of industry, including agriculture, and "industry" is understood in its broad sense as including any physical activity of "technical character". Furthermore it is necessary for the applicability that the invention can really be manufactured and is sufficiently disclosed; medical treatment per se is excluded from industrial application.
