Exchanged views on latest initiatives in meeting with IPOS

Commissioner MORI of the Japan Patent Office (JPO) held a meeting with Mrs. Rena Lee, the Chief Executive of the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS), on October 25, 2021.

During this meeting, the heads of JPO and IPOS discussed the latest initiatives. In addition, we exchanged views on the progress of the Japan-ASEAN IP Rights Action Plan 2021-2022, including the results of the Second Japan-ASEAN Patent Experts Meeting held in September this year.

JPO will continue to actively hold meetings with each country, and to share information regarding current events and awareness of issues regarding intellectual property in order to further improve the intellectual property environment in the ASEAN region.
