Schedule of PCT Fees at the JPO

[Important Notice] Increase in PCT Fees from January 1, 2026

This is to notify you the revised total amount that you are to pay, which is provided below

	Until December 31, 2025	From January 1, 2026
1. Additional fee (ISA/JP) for an application in English	JPY 168,000 per additional invention	JPY 168,000 per additional invention
2. Preliminary examination fee(*1) (IPEA/JP) for an application in English	JPY 69,000	JPY 69,000
3. Handling fee(*2)	JPY 36,500	JPY 37,700
4. Additional fee (IPEA/JP) for an application in English	JPY 45,000 per additional invention	JPY 45,000 per additional invention

• *(1) The amount of the preliminary examination fee payable shall be the amount in effect as of the date when payment is made. (PCT Rule 58.1(b))
• *(2) The amount of the handling fee payable shall be the amount in effect as of the date when payment is made. (PCT Rule 57.3(d))

The additional fee, preliminary examination fee and handling fee shall be paid directly to the JPO as an ISA or IPEA. Please refer to the following websites for the detailed information on the procedures when you choose the JPO as an ISA or IPEA,
