[Important Notice] Decrease in PCT Fees from January 1, 2025

This is to notify you the revised total amount that you are to pay, which is provided below

	Until December 31, 2024	From January 1, 2025
1. Additional fee (ISA/JP) for an application in English	JPY 168,000	JPY 168,000 (No change)
2. Preliminary examination fee(*1) (IPEA/JP) for an application in English	JPY 69,000	JPY 69,000 (No change)
3. Handling fee(*2)	JPY 35,700	JPY 34,700 (JPY 1000 decrease)
4. Additional fee (IPEA/JP) for an application in English	JPY 45,000	JPY 45,000 (No change)

• *(1) The amount of the preliminary examination fee payable shall be the amount in effect as of the date when payment is made. (PCT Rule 58.1(b))
• *(2) The amount of the handling fee payable shall be the amount in effect as of the date when payment is made. (PCT Rule 57.3(d))

The additional fee, preliminary examination fee and handling fee shall be paid directly to the JPO as an ISA or IPEA. Please refer to the following websites for the detailed information on the procedures when you choose the JPO as an ISA or IPEA,
