The JPO renewed its appeal system in January 2025 under the "Plan for Optimization of Operations and Systems of the JPO". In accordance with this change, we changed the data format of the patent information standardized data which had been provided as the "Appeal Master" until the end of December 2024 and will provide the data as “sharedDB (Appeal)” (hereinafter referred to “New Format”).
We provided the old Appeal Master data with the last updates as of December 27, 2024 (which was posted on the Bulk Data Download site on January 6, 2025). Please note that the old Appeal Master data with updates after January 6, 2025 will not be provided.
The new format after the change of data format is as follows:

We have terminated the provision of Initial data provided in June, August and October 2024. Data in the new format to be provided after December 4, 2024 have improved as described below compared with Initial data.
